Words To Live By

Give me the strength to stand firm
Give me the courage to face my fears
Give me the patience to be kind
Give me the energy to have fun
Give me the lessons to gain wisdom
Give me the humility to serve
Give me the fortitude to evolve

Hey Loves

I wrote these lines a few months ago. They just came to me and I had to put them to paper. I shared them on social media at the time and the response was so positive. We all need to have a few words that reflect where we are now or what we are striving to improve in our lives. I actually need to write/print these out and place them where I can see them every day to keep me inspired when life gets a bit wobbly (yes, we all have those days).

As today is Sunday,  you may be spending time relaxing and contemplating, I thought I would share these with you.  If you have seen this on my social media I hope this is a reminder and if it is the first time you have seen this I hope it serves as an inspiration to create your own words to live by.

Please do share with me in the comments below your words to live by.

Have a wonderful week.

Until next time.

I live by a series of affirmative sentences that have evolved with me over the past couple of years. Started to counter the negativity I had suffered at the hands of my ex partner I didn’t believe them at first – I felt silly saying them aloud – but I kept at it. I own them now. Thanks for sharing yours. x

Yes, a great example of how affirmative sentences are powerful to move us from negativity to a positive mindset. Well done for persevering and coming through the other side.x
