Cantu UK Launch

Cantu has been a staple brand in my selection of natural hair products since cutting off all my relaxed hair in 2014.

My Cantu favourites are the ‘coconut curling cream’ and of course the infamous ‘leave-in conditioning repair cream’ which is a fabulous product for moisture.

Award winning Cantu is one of the leading natural hair care brands in the USA and you may have been able to purchase Cantu products in selected stores in the UK for some time now. However, the good news is that Cantu has recently launched in the high street through Boots UK, making the range available nationwide and online.

Cantu was created as a response to the needs of those with natural and textured hair who were searching for a hair care range that specifically provided moisture and restorative benefits.  Cantu were able to do just that as all their products are made with 100% shea butter and as a result Cantu prides itself in catering to the needs of those with curly, coily and wavy hair. The company’s ethos is to celebrate strong and beautiful women, but of course Cantu is not only for women, because my husband Tony loves using my Cantu products on his hair too 🙂

I was lucky enough to attend the launch in a swanky location in London’s Soho. The venue was filled with Cantu’s striking brand colours. And guests were treated to drinks, canapes and an abundance of sweets. We also had the opportunity to have our hair styled by the Cantu team of Stylist.

It was lovely to see the room filled with familiar naturalistas. And of course we were all treated to a generous goodie bag with the amazing full sized Cantu products.

I have put together a short video of the evening (watch the video by clicking the link picture below).
