Hope all is well with you and you are enjoying the joys of spring. Yes spring has sprung and I am looking forward to the change in the weather, bright sunny mornings and warm evenings chilling outside. I am a spring/summer baby so any opportunity to bask in some rays is something I do not want to miss out on. I really do try to embrace the autumn and winter months but it is a struggle for me. I just do not do well in cold weather. I know we should live in the present so I have learned to appreciate the rich colours and hues of autumn, I also think that blankets of snow are picturesque. However, give me some warm sunshine and I am a happy bunny, it must be due to my Jamaican blood!
I was fortunate to visit Portugal last month and whilst there we enjoyed some sunnier days. I loved feeling the sun on my face the opportunity to wear flip flops on the beach (ahhh the simple things in life).
In this post I have shared a few outfit shots I took whilst sightseeing in Portugal’s capital city, Lisbon with my Tony. This grey sweatshirt mini dress from Forever 21 was perfect for the mild climate.
I feel so inspired right now, so look out for new and exiting things on my blog. For me, spring means renewal and fresh beginnings. The flowers and trees are budding, blooming, and showing off their yellows, pinks and whites. The birds are signing, and why shouldn’t they? Its a beautiful time. I am taking this time to review aspects of my life and my daily activities to review what needs to be renewed and refreshed too. I will write more about this in a future post.
I would love to know which season inspires you the most. Let me know by leaving a comment below.
Until next time
